The Bank

The chandelier-lit escalator that takes you up to this nightclub inside Bellagio is just the first indicator that customers are in for an upscale party. Upstairs you'll find a multi-tiered environment filled with booths and plenty of standing room for the voyeurs among us. A glass-encased dance floor is raised slightly above the lowest tier making it the focal point of the venue. At 6,600 square feet, The Bank isn't exactly large by Las Vegas standards. But what it lacks in size it makes up for in glitz and glamor.

Scene
Who is there and when to go to your Las Vegas nightclub.

Bellagio's nightclub works hard to be upscale and cool, but to a large degree it does so simply by being expensive. The remodel of the old Light space is a big improvement, but its still a bit of a fishbowl. However, if you want to join the see-and-be-seen crowd, this is a good place to start. The crowd is usually full of ambitious ladies in their late twenties and early-thirties, dressed to the hilt, looking for a platinum card carrying Mr. Right. They're in the right place. Anyone who can afford to stay at Bellagio can afford to keep a mistress or three. Visiting Hollywood-types and pro sports figures drop in on a regular basis to prove they can afford it. Thursday's are always good because there simply aren't that many clubs open during the week anymore. But Sunday night's industry party, a carry-over from Light, is still one of our favorites. Music fans will remember DJ David Christian from Seven and Rubber.
