Rain
Palms' insanely popular nightclub features an elevated dance floor
surrounded by a moat, a stage backed by a 40 foot wall of water,
go-gos suspended in mid-air, and a startling array of pyrotechnic
effects. But as wild as the fun can be on the floor, the real action
takes place on the numerous terrace levels that soar above. Water
boothes featuring patent leather, water-filled furniture line one
level, while skyboxes offer VIPs a more private experience complete
with security guards, private rooms, and balconies allowing them
to look down on the mortals below.

Who is there and when to go to your Las
Vegas nightclub.
Palms owner George Maloof pulled out all the stops, from hosting Playboy
parties, pandering to pop tarts like Britney Speers, and hosting the
brats from MTV's Real World in an attempt to make his resort cool.
As a result, wanna-bes from across the country flock to Rain, standing
in line for hours in the belief that entry will make them cool too.
Sadly, most never get past the door. Those lucky enough to get inside
make like sardines. But it isn't all bad. If you have the cash to
afford one of the plush skyboxes, the sexiest fish in the sea below
are yours for the taking. Fridays and Saturdays are always packed
to capacity, but those willing to go "ugly early" might
be able to squeeze in for Thursday night's Drenched party featuring
frequent guest DJs.
