OPM

Located on top of Wolfgang Puck's Chinois restaurant, OPM looks out on the Forum Shops of Caesars Palace. The 8,000 square foot venue is entered through the restaurant by ascending an ornate staircase. Three bars provide the lubricant and two DJs spin the soundtrack in two different rooms. The main room features Sin City's best hip hop, while the smaller back room soothes to acid jazz and lounge mixes. Guests can escape to a seating area that overlooks the shops below. Two VIP rooms - Rockstar Room and Edge Room - are available for parties up to 40 strong.

Scene
Who is there and when to go to your Las Vegas nightclub.

Despite some strong promotion, OPM had a rough start due in part to it's out-of-the-way location on top of a restaurant. It has tried a wide variety of theme nights including some with blatant sexual overtones such as a gay night and bi-girl night. Strangely enough, the opening of Pure in the same resort has enabled OPM to draw a decent crowd of partiers either tired of waiting in line or looking for someplace a bit more intimate. The recent swing toward a straight diet of hip-hop has made OPM the "go-to" place for visiting music stars and sports figures.
