THEhotel at Mandalay Bay shows the rest of the city what an ultra-lounge should be with Mix. Located on the 64th floor, Mix features a plush black leather decor with red accent lighting. Floor to ceiling windows offer an incredible view of the Strip from either side of the large bar. Low tables are available on both sides of the wrap-around bar area. VIP tables are located on the lower indoor terrace. Even more seating is found on the outdoor patio. A small circular bar, probably intended as a champagne bar, is located near the entrance. There's even a wild, very private VIP area upstairs featuring a starry night effect. Finally, the bathrooms are among the coolest in town.

Who is there and when to go to your Las Vegas lounge.

Mix is what fans of the old Ghostbar (pre-MTV crowds) wish it were. It has incredible views from both indoors and out, an ultra-cool modern decor, bathrooms designed for exhibitionists, and it is attached to one of the finest restaurants you'll ever find. So far the masses haven't discovered this hotspot, but that won't last. The over-flow crowd from Foundation Room's Monday night Godspeed party have started to migrate and weekends are picking up as well. Once inside you'll find upscale hipsters and hotties, many of whom are enjoying the best apres dinner scene in Las Vegas.
